In our mission to fuel technology-based economic development, we undertake economic development planning and implementation projects. We focus on fostering regional knowledge ecosystems that support entrepreneurs and startups, including the commercialization of new technologies. Our goal is to enable the creation of technology-driven businesses and high-skilled, well-paying jobs of the future.

But our mission doesn't end there. We are committed to advancing equity across America. We undertake economic development planning or implementation projects that directly benefit:

1. One or more traditionally underserved populations, including but not limited to women, Black, Latino, Indigenous and Native American persons, Asian Americans, and Pacific Islanders.
2. Underserved communities within geographies that have been systemically and/or systematically denied a full opportunity to participate in aspects of economic prosperity such as Tribal Lands, Persistent Poverty Counties, and historically underserved rural areas.

Our objective is to bridge the gap between inventors, businesses, investors, consumers, and students in the tech industry. By fostering innovation, championing unique, USA-made, environmentally conscious products, and facilitating a robust investment pipeline, we aim to drive sustainable growth and prosperity.

Based in Shreveport, where Tech to Market took root, we aim to bridge the gap between diverse local communities and foster a shared sense of purpose. As we envisage the future, we see Tech to Market as a multifaceted platform that offers value to all its members in myriad ways:

Tech to Market sprouted from a simple idea: connecting idea creators to resources that fast-track their path to market success. It started as an event by the LA New Product Development Team, and after two successful iterations, along with various educational initiatives in partnership with the USPTO, a vision emerged - a vibrant, localized entrepreneurial ecosystem centered on product and technology commercialization.

Our vision is to become a global leader in fostering a technologically advanced, inclusive, and circular economy. We envisage a future where technology positively impacts the environment and society, spurring sustainability across sectors ranging from Energy to Filmmaking. By centering our efforts around the community, we aspire to inspire the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders to build solutions that advance human progress and safeguard our planet.
